There is perhaps nothing more important than health,
which we support despite all
odds, with simply a hope for a better tomorrow for all.

For every 10 Cancer patients in India, 70%-80% who are
not getting proper streatment.

* Over 5 million patients of cancer
are not even diagnosed of their disease, around
same no. of patients do not reach hospitals for apt treatment.

* An estimated 80% of those die due to lack of
proper medical aid in India.

Like every development
agency working in health & health-care, WOC's goal
is to ensure that every cancer patient in India is under proper medical care in
a hospital and getting proper treatment. Which could ensure health and smooth
life...after all, all the possibilities are endless and available.

More concretely, the WOC India project
aims to support and retain disadvantaged
patient in formal and alternative treatment programs by strengthening the capacity
of Indian Hospitals (including non-profit hospitals and foundations) in identified
urban and rural areas.
|
|
WOC India aims to provide financial
support and assistance to the hospitals that
address the treatment needs of debilitating cancer patients.
|
